  • Ellie Scott , DVM


    Dr. Scott graduated from the Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Upon graduation, she practiced in Cape Coral, Florida at a busy 6 doctor practice. Upon her return to Columbus she practiced as a relief veterinarian traveling throughout central Ohio. She purchased Stringtown Animal Hospital in December of 2004. Her goal is to support and nourish the bond that her clients and their pets share by providing optimal veterinary care. Dr. Scott’s family includes Lina and two German Shepherds, Riddick and Furiosa.

  • Jim Carter, DVM


    Dr. Carter graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.  Upon graduation, he worked in large and small animal practices in Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.  He has been practicing small animal medicine exclusively since 1995.  He has an extraordinary amount of experience and knowledge.  Our clients and patients are comforted by his gentle and  caring demeanor.  Dr. Carter's family includes chow mix Lina, German Shepherds Riddick and Furiosa, and three horses: Allie, Boo Boo, and B.B.

  • Rachel Hollenbach, DVM


    Dr. Hollenbach is a 2016 graduate from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been working in Springfield, Ohio and is now excited to return to the Columbus area. Her medical interests include dentistry, behavior, and strengthening the human-animal bond between clients and their pets. Dr. Hollenbach enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their daughter, Julia. Her fur family includes two dogs - Trevor and Ava, and three cats - Cleo, Shamus, and Franklin.

  • Allyson Bond DVM, MS


    Dr. Allyson Bond grew up in Medina, Ohio, prior to moving to Columbus, Ohio to attend The Ohio State University for her undergraduate studies. After completing undergrad, Dr. Bond went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Animal Sciences, specializing in Cardiology prior to veterinary school. She graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bond has been practicing small animal medicine in central Ohio for 3 years now. She has a passion for surgery and internal medicine. Outside of work she loves to travel, ski, bike, and run with her dogs. She currently resides in Marysville, Ohio, with her husband Dr. Randy Bond, their son Reese, and their two dogs Riley and Dex.

    Lori fell in love with the veterinary field after graduating high school.  She graduated from the Columbus State Veterinary Technician program in 2003.  Lori is very fond of beagles after adopting her 15 year old beagle Otis 13 years ago.  Lori and her husband, Steve, have Otis and 1 cat, Topaz.

    Nikki graduated from Columbus State Community College Veterinary Technician program in 2015.  Nikki has always had a love for working with animals.  She has a Shetland sheepdog named Bluejack at home.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and off-roading in her Jeep!

    Vet Assistant

    Jess is currently attending Columbus State Community College and is starting the Veterinary Technician program this fall. She discovered her passion for helping animals after losing her kitten, Jin, to cancer. Jess and her husband, ChanRak, have three rescued cats: Mugen, Fuu, and Sokka. She has fostered, volunteered at shelters, and is now looking forward to completing her degree to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

    Lead Client Relations Specialist

    Jackie graduated in 2010 with a degree in English from Columbus State.  She was born & raised in Columbus, Ohio.  Since childhood, she has shared a special bond with animals, dogs, especially.  She has 2 fur babies at home, a Siberian Husky, Gabby, and a feisty kitten named Cleo.  Jackie has a son, Matthew, who shares her love for animals of all shapes and sizes.

    Client Relations Specialist


    Charlene graduated from Malone University in Canton, Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She was raised on a Holstein Dairy farm in Clark County, Ohio, and then was a zoo keeper at Busch Gardens and Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Florida. When Charlene and her husband moved back to Ohio, she worked at an animal hospital in Columbus before joining the team at Stringtown Animal Hospital.

    Her family includes a Dachshund named Bug, and a cat named Remi.

    Client Relations Specialist

    Janet is a familiar face to all of our clients. She originally started employment with the hospital before it moved to it’s current location. Janet's friendly personality and wonderful listening skills allow client needs to be taken care of effectively and efficiently.  Janet and her husband, Rick, are Grove City natives and have two daughters, Amber and Ashley.  Janet breeds German shepherds and currently has many dogs as well as two cats and an African Grey parrot named Domino.
